It is linked to financial incentives such as the RHPP and upcoming RHI, which means that MCS certified products installed by Anderson Floor Warming And Renewables are eligible for these incentives.

South Lanarkshire College Low Carbon Houses
Anderson Floor Warming And Renewables have been specified for two low carbon houses at South Lanarkshire College, where we will be providing underfloor heating to each of the properties, one pipe in pug, and the other pipe in plate. The buildings, designed by Arcink, will incorporate Kingspan solar panels and a 4kW air source heat pump, while we will design the mechanical heat recovery ventilation system. One of the properties will meet the 2016 building standards, achieving significantly better u-values than those required , and an air tightness of zero, meaning that MHRV was the only option compliant with Section 7 of the building regulations. The other property, while similar in design, will meet the current regulations, and the College’s intentions are to demonstrate the difference between current and future standards, via a series of thermal imaging and air tightness tests.
