A massive £37 million refurbishment of the Royal Commonwealth pool. It will be open to host the diving competition for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. The project also includes a changing "village" with better family facilities, a brand new dry play area for children, poolside showers, heated benches next to pools, and a revamped cafe.
We are laying insulation and underfloor heating to approx. 3,000m2 (30,000sqft) of Main Pool, Training and Diving Pool Surrounds and changing areas, using approx. 12.5Km of pipe.
