Officially opened by Livingston MP Robin Cook in March 2002 and nominated for the 'Best Building in Scotland' award, the new Scottish Courage Distribution Centre is part of a twenty nine million investment by the company. The Distribution Centre employs about two hundred people and each year distributes some eight hundred thousand barrels to two and a half thousand customers across Scotland. Underfloor heating was installed in the double height entrance and reception areas, toilets and driver changing areas.
