East Cambusmoon Farm Cottages

Having previously worked on the house at East Cambusmoon Farm, we were also involved in the renovation of former dairy buildings in to 2 holiday cottages.

The client's own blog showcases both builds and this is what they had to say about working with Anderson Floor Warming And Renewables again:-

'We're using Anderson Floor Warming for the underfloor heating, hot and cold water systems, installation of the ground source heat pump and solar. We are happily working with the same builder, subcontractors and architect as we did on the house so its nice to see familiar faces back on site.'

MCS Approved Installers

MCS Accreditation

We are delighted to announce that Anderson Floor Warming And Renewables have gained MCS Approved Installer status for another year. In addition to Heat Pumps, for which we have been Approved Installers for many years, we have now added Solar Thermal Systems to our list.

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme certifies microgeneration technologies used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources. It is linked to financial incentives such as the RHPP and upcoming RHI, which means that MCS certified products installed by Anderson Floor Warming And Renewables are eligible for these incentives.

South Lanarkshire College Low Carbon Houses

Anderson Floor Warming And Renewables have been specified for two low carbon houses at South Lanarkshire College, where we will be providing underfloor heating to each of the properties, one pipe in pug, and the other pipe in plate.  The buildings, designed by Arcink, will incorporate Kingspan solar panels and a 4kW air source heat pump, while we will design the mechanical heat recovery ventilation system.  One of the properties will meet the 2016 building standards, achieving significantly better u-values than those required , and an air tightness of zero, meaning that MHRV was the only option compliant with Section 7 of the building regulations.  The other property, while similar in design, will meet the current regulations, and the College’s intentions are to demonstrate the difference between current and future standards, via a series of thermal imaging and air tightness tests.  You can view a live feed of progress on site here - http://slcvle.slc.ac.uk/webcam/

Craigengall Farm

Our client at Craigengall Farm has a website documenting their build. There's lots of great photos including some of our work doing the underfloor heating and ground source heat pump. Well worth a look.

Dunlop Church - project added

We have recently completed work on Phase 1 of the redevelopment of Dunlop Church in Ayrshire. The Church itself has a rich history dating back to 1835, but had fallen into a state of disrepair, meaning that an extensive upgrade was required, including structural improvements, stonework repair, and a complete overhaul of the existing heating system and old gas boiler, which was running at less than 60% efficiency. Anderson Floor Warming And Renewables were employed to design a more energy efficient heating system.
