Wolfson Building, University of Glasgow

Within the proposed over all master plan framework for the university of Glasgow, the new medical school has a prominent setting at the apex of the triangular ‘gushett’ site. The triangular atrium court heated with underfloor heating, reconciles the imposed conflicting geometries, forming the physical and social core of the new facility. Our pipe in rail system with a semi dry screed was used as the rail system enabled use of higher compressive strength insulation to permit cherry picker access.
